Artan Hoxha spoke about the punishments handed down by the court for the incinerators affair, where Lefter Koka and a number of officials were sentenced today, but former deputy Alqi Blako was declared innocent.
Invited to the show "Te Paespozuarit" on MCN TV, Hoxha stated that justice did not uncover the robbery scheme and it is still not known where the money went, but the biggest fish turned out to be Lefter Koka.
According to him, there are about 60 million euros that it is not known where they have ended up and that justice has no information about them.
" The value of the invested money is somewhere around 65 million euros. With the seizures that have been made, it is somewhere around 5 million euros. The rest, these other 60 million, where have they gone? The companies have empty accounts.
What has been requested by public opinion and the media, is to strike the scheme and those who drafted the scheme. These are not in this court decision. The biggest fish turned out to be Lefter Koka.
The decisions are not easy, but we do not have what the public opinion has asked for. With this in mind, I do not leave any hope for further. Blako served 18 months in prison. Taking into account the detention time, which is estimated at 1.5 days, it goes to 27 months. It's almost like it's been 2 years and three months. He has another 5 months left, but he has the right to be released on parole.
We are facing the fait accompli that he was convicted. The battle will appear on appeal. Today we still do not know what happened. We still don't know this bag of money moving in the pipes. The question is, where did the money go? All this, that Lefter Koka and Alqi Blako have done... Today there was a chronicle on Top Channel, a 74-year-old convict had received a reaction. He had a signature. He came out and said, I tell the officials, don't sign anymore, be responsible. That was the essence of the process ," said Hoxha, among other things.
