They report standing in long lines to get the service they need. Patients state that they perform consultations near their cities due to economic impossibility. In addition, they state that they have a shortage of medicines.
"Today I have come to bring the scanner's answer. I did it in the state. I have breast cancer. I was operated in the public hospital of Durrës. We have a shortage of medicine. Sometimes I have been told that the medicines are in short supply, sometimes I have not taken them due to financial possibilities.
I have been suffering from this disease for a year or so. I don't even know how the work will go. Now I'm in debt, I don't know where he'll find the money to give to the pharmacist. I did the chemotherapy in Durrës due to financial difficulties. I come here once a month for rays", says a citizen for "Report TV".
"I will get a prescription. When the doctor comes we will take it. I come from Fieri once every three months to the oncologist," says another citizen.
