But they are all counterfeit notes. Even for cloned cards, all you have to do is ask: they are available with special fees and price lists.
Those who produce fake money also ensure the quality of the goods. According to the counterfeiter's promise, the banknotes must pass UV light tests. On the same channel, to which more than 2 thousand people have subscribed, videos were posted that would prove passing the pen test, one of the methods used to verify the authenticity of banknotes. But what does it take to produce counterfeit money? The basic elements are a small printing press, coated paper, holographic paper and ink. All material can be ordered through the websites.
There are hundreds, if not thousands of customers, as shown by the recent investigations carried out by the cryptocurrency section of the Carabinieri anti-counterfeiting command, and deliveries are made not only in Italy, but also in several other countries.
A 28-year-old man from Casarano, in the province of Lecce, was arrested by the police after a veritable clandestine printing press was discovered in his home: between December 2022 and last May, he allegedly made at least 163 shipments of packages containing bundles of fake banknotes in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 euros, also using labels created by a well-known website for the sale of used clothes to be placed in the envelopes to be sent , to avoid checks.
