Albania-Croatia-Kosovo Pact Alarms Belgrade; Vučić Starts Creating Military

This is Serbia's response to the agreement signed in Tirana by Croatia, Albania and Kosovo.

Three days ago, Albania, Croatia and Kosovo signed a trilateral memorandum in the field of defense. This memorandum seems to have alarmed Belgrade.

The trilateral memorandum had a clear message to all those who dare to threaten security, peace and stability in the Western Balkans, or rather, a message to all that these three countries, which share common values and interests, are united to confront any danger aimed at destabilizing the region.

Serbian media have revealed that immediately after the signing of this Memorandum, Belgrade moved the stones to create a military alliance.

Kurir, referring to sources in the Serbian Government, writes that the Memorandum of Albania, Kosovo and Croatia on a defense alliance is a direct threat to Serbia, while further reporting that "Serbia should inform the United Nations Security Council about this issue and continue strengthening its security and defense capacities."

But which country is Aleksandar Vučić aiming to create a military alliance with?

According to Kurir, this alliance is intended between Serbia and Hungary.

Albania-Croatia-Kosovo Pact Alarms Belgrade; Vučić Starts Creating Military

Viktor Orban and Aleksandar Vučić have already entered into a serious implementation of the military alliance between the two countries.

This is Serbia's response to the agreement signed in Tirana by Croatia, Albania and Kosovo. Given that Croatia and Albania are NATO members, but have signed the agreement with Kosovo, a non-member, Hungary, as a member of the Alliance, can sign a similar agreement with a country that is not in the North Atlantic Alliance, as in the specific case Serbia.

The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has stated that the signing of the memorandum between Albania, Kosovo and Croatia on cooperation in the field of defense represents a violation of the subregional agreement and added that he is almost certain that NATO was not even informed about this.

Vučić, responding to a journalist's question after a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, whether he had spoken to him about this and whether Serbia would receive the explanation it requested, said that this was one of the topics of conversation he had raised.

" This is a violation of the so-called subregional arms control agreement from 1996, but from the reactions of Croatia and some other parts of the region we have seen that they are not very interested in it. I am almost certain that NATO was not even informed and that they were not even told which agreements were violated ," Vučić said. / Adapt Pamphlet /
