Lul Berisha has been extradited to Albania to continue serving his sentence, but he opposes this decision on the grounds that his life is in danger in Albania.
Journalist Anduena Llabani reported that Lul Berisha has gone all the way to Strasbourg to request his non-extradition to Albania, arguing that his life is in danger.
"He was one of the people who sat on his feet when his name was mentioned, there were some bars in Durrës that no one would enter. There was a bar in the palace of the former mayor of Durrës. There was an attempt to assassinate him where he was shot in the leg. Lul Berisha went all the way to Strasbourg to avoid extradition to Albania and there are arguments that his life is at risk in Albania ," Llabani said for the "360 Degrees" show.
