Analyst Preç Zogaj, analyzing Prime Minister Rama's comments today at the SP parliamentary group meeting on the large number of detainees in Albania, described detention as a real and fair problem. But Zogaj stressed that Rama is not worried about citizens, but about senior officials.

But there is a problem here, Rama seems to be dealing with the real phenomenon, which is very serious for Albania, pre-trial detention has mostly to do with the district prosecutor's offices, he wants to fill the ball, but in fact he is addressing it against SPAK, but this has nothing to do with SPAK. These people have it with SPAK, with the investigation. The problem is real. The recommendations of the Council of Europe should be turned into laws. I am against unjustified pre-trial detention.
