While discussing SPAK's security measure against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha in "Opinion", there was a tense debate between two analysts, Preç Zogaj and Artan Hoxha.
The latter described the Assembly as "unruly" and the Special Prosecutor's Office "an institution that acts on the basis of interests", stressing that Berisha does not have to face the judges. On the other hand, Zogaj said that the former prime minister should implement the court's decision and appear because this is how it works in a democratic state.
Studio chat:
Preç Zogaj: Only here have I heard that you yourself become the Constitutional Court, do you think that this is the Constitution...
Artan Hoxha: The person affected in the first place is the Assembly, but because it has no dignity, it is not involved...
Preç Zogaj: You can say day and night that I am respecting the Constitution, but against a court decision, it must be the Constitutional Court, so you cannot refer to yourself.
Artan Hoxha: The unusual do acts of resistance and accept the costs. Ordinary people do not accept the cost and submit.
Preç Zogaj: There is an absurdity in Albania that they call things unnatural, it is not natural, here the investigation of the former President is a norm where the law rules and where no one is above the law.
Artan Hoxha: There is no place for the most expensive parliament, 24 carats! It does not protect its dignity
Preç Zogaj: Sali Berisha was not found for some time, this was becoming comical. They couldn't find it...
Artan Hoxha: He 24 hours before the eyes of all Albanians, they could find them... They wanted to go there to your office.
Preç Zogaj: Now they are looking for a way to get the former President to meet with the judges, because this is a battle that takes place neither in the studio nor in the pulpit.
Artan Hoxha: Why should Sali Berisha go to the judge, there are lawyers, they go. Why do they want to take him with difficulty, where they found the right to take him with difficulty?
Preç Zogaj: It is the person who must be presented.
Artan Hoxha: For what, for appeal? I don't know how you accept idiocy so easily.
Preç Zogaj: Who is idiocy?
Artan Hoxha: Court decisions are idiocy. Since they do not come from ignorance, they come from interest.
Preç Zogaj: You should go and challenge them in front of you.
Artan Hoxha: They want to stop that man, break him, it's quite clear!
Preç Zogaj: Justice has opened several cases, he is not the only one against whom investigations are being carried out.
Artan Hoxha: He is doing the road with lawyers. You do not want to admit that this court is acting politically.
Preç Zogaj: Are you going to tell him to rest or not? We have come to have a conversation. Who are you talking to, I have an opinion of my own.
Artan Hoxha: I am talking to all those who think differently from me.
Preç Zogaj: I am neither Sali Berisha's lawyer, nor the prosecutor, nor the judge. Fortunately, I am neither.
