A hearing is being held at the GJKKO in the case of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi, businessman Fatmir Bektashi, as well as Andia Pustina and Xhimi Begeja, who are defendants by SPAK on various charges related to the Partizani file.
At the beginning of the session, SPAK prosecutors presented their objections regarding some of the defendants' requests for evidence.
Regarding the request of the defense lawyers of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, that Prime Minister Edi Rama be called to testify on the witness list, the prosecutors stated that this will be decided by the Court, thus not presenting an objection to this request, but considering it as an issue that the Court must decide.
Regarding the request filed by Andia Pustina's lawyer, requesting the dismissal of the charges against her, SPAK prosecutors stated that there is no reason why the charges should be dismissed.
Regarding the requests for evidence from Fatmir Bektashi and the company "Kontakt", SPAK has expressed its agreement to the summoning of witnesses. Regarding the expert opinions requested by this company, SPAK requested their clarification and emphasized that the accounting expertise will be obtained based on the evidence submitted by the Prosecution, with the defendant's right to retake it if he disagrees.
The prosecution also requested that the requests for inapplicability or illegality of the evidence be dismissed and not taken into account.
