Former Socialist Party MP Marjana Koçeku, also known as "Neomalsorja", has announced that she is in the European Parliament in Brussels, where she will hold meetings with several MEPs.
In a post on social media, Koçeku announced that the visit was made at the invitation of MEPs and that the focus of the discussions will be the civic protests held over the last 30 days, environmental issues and the problems facing Albania.
Koçeku, who left the Socialist Party parliamentary group and joined the civic protests, says she intends to raise concerns related to the situation in Albania with European institutions.
In her reaction, she calls the government corrupt and accuses the government of arbitrariness, claiming that it has crossed every line.
"Europe must turn its eyes towards Albania more than ever. I am honored to be in the European Parliament in Brussels these days, at the invitation of several MEPs, with whom we will discuss environmental issues, the protests of these 30 days and the many problems that our country is facing, especially the corruption and arbitrariness of a government that is crossing every border," writes Marjana Koçeku.
