
The second phase of the selection of the head of the National Bureau of Investigation has been completed, that of the physical fitness test, which was conducted at the premises of the RENEA Special Unit in Yzberisht, Tirana.
The seven participating candidates were previously informed about the test's development modalities and completed all of its components.
SPAK informs that the test aimed to assess physical strength and endurance, the maximum number of push-ups (in one minute), the 300-meter sprint (measured by time), the maximum number of push-ups (without time limit), and the 2.4 km run (measured by time).
After completing this phase, the third phase will continue, which consists of developing a written essay and a logical reasoning test.
"In accordance with article 38, point 2, letter 'd', of law 95/2016, the second phase of the selection of the Director of the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH) took place today, namely the Physical Aptitude Test (TAF). The testing began at 07:00 at the premises of the RENEA Special Unit in Yzberisht, Tirana.

The test aimed to assess physical strength and endurance:
Maximum number of folds (in one minute);
300-meter sprint (timed)
Maximum number of pumps (no time limit)
They run 2.4 km, (measured by time).
The development of the test was monitored by a medical team to observe its progress. International representatives were also present, to guarantee transparency and maintenance of the standards of the process. After the completion of this phase, the third phase will continue, which consists of the development of a written essay and a logical reasoning test," the SPAK announcement states.
Specifically, there are 7 candidates left in the race: Andi Pogaçe, Artur Beu, Elton Kërluku, Gentian Ndoi, Gentjan Shehaj, Gledis Nano and Joni Keta. Most of them are current police officers and investigators at SPAK.
Of the 13 candidates who submitted their documentation and underwent the first phase of documentation control, 6 of them were disqualified from the competition. Those who did not pass the first phase of the commission composed of Chief Prosecutor Altin Dumani and Arben Kraja and Behar Dibra were: Astrit Halilaj, Haki Cako, Mauricio Sheldija, Marinela Pilinci, Miklovan Kanani and Nevrus Ndregjoni.
