The Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit at the Palace of Congresses has ended. After closing the works, the leaders present at the Summit took a family photo.
Prime Minister Rama and the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky were placed in the center of the photo, while the President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani lined up next to Rama, with Vučić placed on Zelensky's side.
After the photo was taken, the leaders entered the premises of the Palace of Congresses, while Rama and Zelenskyy are expected to hold a joint press conference.
The first to speak at the summit was Prime Minister Edi Rama, who said that the war started from an old imperial dream, where Russian President Putin aimed to erase Ukraine from the map.
Meanwhile, the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, gave his message from Tirana that the path that Europe is following for future generations is now being determined.
In his speech at the summit, the leader of Ukraine said that Putin must lose, as his failure is security for Ukraine.
Zelensky has emphasized that Putin is seeking to establish his own dictates in Europe and that he can do this if he defeats Ukraine. He also stated that Ukraine's vision for Europe is based on dignity and that this should continue and defeat Russia.
"I thank Rama for your personal and national support. It is the second time we meet in such a format, the first in Athens. I appreciate the hospitality and the opportunity to discuss how we can strengthen all of Europe. Now the path that Europe will follow is being determined in future generations.
Putin, everything he does is an attempt to let the old dictates decide what nations should do. It is important for our free states that the Putin regime loses.
We all want it to be that space that defines its own destiny. We have seen how in the past, there were people who tried to determine the fate of other nations. This has happened in the Balkans, in Eastern Europe and in all other parts of Europe. Now Putin will do this thing, all his hostility, and all he will do is force other nations to do as he says. It is an attempt for the old dictates to decide what the nations should do. It is therefore important to our nations that Putin and his regime, because his failures are our security. There should not be Europe with different dignities in it," Zelenksy said in his speech.
