The former head of the Gjirokastra Cadastre, Florian Taçi, has fallen into police custody.
It was a well-coordinated joint operation between the Police of Tirana, that of Gjirokastra, the Prosecutor's Office and the Gjirokastra Court of Fact that finalized the action for the arrest of Taçi and his former collaborator in the Gjirokastra Cadastre, Alban Memishaj.
The charge against Taçi is for fraud and falsification of documents in collaboration.
Yesterday evening, the police raided his lawyer's office in Gjirokastra, where they seized numerous documents used by Taçi that had to do with the entire database of the Cadastre of Gjirokastra, which is an unprecedented violation. At the same time, Taçi had access to this online database.
