Lawyer Romeo Kara is against the judges' request for a salary increase.
On the ABC News show "Real Story," Kara said that judges are paid more than ministers and they don't justify it.
According to him, real vetting for judges should begin.
" There is a comparison, where they are and what they do. With these salaries, one lives in Albania. I'm not saying that it is surprising. When Albanians are 50 times less than someone else's salary, when they hold trials without informing the parties at all, vetting should be started with an excavator. Especially in the Court of First Instance and Appeal. With these salaries, they have harassed and raised our disgust. Real vetting should begin now. There is also a part that is correct, but it is very small. The time has come for us to tell them, not that you don't deserve to raise your salary, but that salary you receive, you don't deserve it ," he emphasized.
