"Dubai has fallen", journalist reveals the new "paradise" of

Journalist Eni Ferhati commented on the extradition of two wanted by SPAK this Wednesday from Dubai, Nuredin Dumani's brother, Dashnor Dumani, and one of the people accused of laundering the money of the Çopja brothers.

The journalist said that the United Arab Emirates has already opened the extradition window and now the large contingent of Albanians who are there, and who have even more serious charges, are in moments of alarm, as there is a risk that they will suffer the same fate by being extradited to Albania.

The journalist said that they are taking steps to leave Dubai and gave a version that they may also move to Russia.

"The first signs, given the large contingent we have there, are that perhaps we are in a situation where the Emirates have opened the floodgates. Communication bridges have been found between the two countries, perhaps the interests of intergovernmental cooperation with the coordination of Interpol, and they are bringing them in one by one. Dubai has fallen as a safe haven and I have information that some have started to take measures and will flee Dubai. I don't know where they will find another place, but they could go to Russia to find an alliance, perhaps with Putin.

They are in Çapja, the proper extradition procedure has been implemented. We have said that, apparently, the United Arab Emirates is no longer a safe haven, based on these precedents, but also on the detentions that have been made earlier against some characters who are there. For example, Durim Bama, a name that does not pose much of a risk in Albania, at least with these charges that he has so far – only providing conditions and material means for murder – has been detained there and held for a period of time. But these are characters who may be wanted by SPAK or the authorities, because they may have the opportunity to shed light on events in Albania” , said Ferhati on the “NOW” show on “EuronewsAlbania”
