Journalist Edison Vatnikaj spoke about the serious events recorded two days ago, which, according to him, started from banal conflicts.
Focusing on the case of gunfire in the area of the former bus park in Delijorgj, where one person was injured, Vatnikaj said that the conflict is suspected to have had a personal history in the background.
He stated that the incident is related to a woman who previously had a relationship with the suspected perpetrator, Besjar Ferazini, while currently living with the injured man, Akil Koxhaxhiku.
"The shooting case in the Delijorgji area between two people was related to a crime of passion due to some connections that the perpetrator had with a cohabitant of the injured person. It was early in time, but apparently the heat of passion made him lose his temper and commit the serious crime," Vatnikaj told "Euronews".
He stated that according to information, this is a past story that had come back to light, adding that the perpetrator deliberately went to injure his ex-partner's cohabitant.
"The scary thing is that the person in question had the firearm with him, raising the question of whether he had gone there intentionally to commit the crime or had met him by chance, shooting the young man in the stomach," the journalist said.
The injured man was immediately transported to a private hospital in the Kavaja Street area, where he received first aid and is out of danger.
