Albania woke up today covered by a cloud of dust originating from North Africa.
Due to the strong winds from the Sahara towards the north, the southern part of Europe is expected to be covered by large amounts of dust, while the areas that are expected to be hit hard are Malta, Greece and southern Italy.
As for Albania, the map published by meteorological stations in the region shows that the whole country is covered by dust, but the thickness will be greater in the Lezha area due to the geographical relief of the area.
Also, the Saharan dust will extend along the southern coast.
