Economist Pano Soko spoke about the objectives of Albanians for 2025.
According to the expert, the objective of achieving a balance between work and free time was still low among Albanians, where 47.2% had it as an objective, while 50.9% did not.
Soko said that this is the most important objective that a society should have, since the consequences directly affect children.
"When the murder of the 14-year-old happened in Tirana, the focus of the entire society turned to what was essentially just that. We are so focused on work as beings that we forget to raise children. The fact that awareness is still low, we will see the consequences later, when our children do not have all the necessary corpus of matter that should be received from the parent. We as a society are still maturing to understand that work-time-family balance is one of the main objectives that a society should have. This is the most important objective, because it is at the expense of the children", said Soko in the "Barometer" show on Euronews Albania.
