Former Socialist Party Finance Minister Arben Malaj has stated that the Socialist Party has promoted candidates linked to crime and oligarchs in the May 11 elections.
Malaj made the comments during an interview for the show 'Off the Record', where he said that SPAK had also noted this.
He continued by attacking Prime Minister Edi Rama, whom he said is drinking the blood of Albanians, while adding that the media does not deal with these problems, but with Edi Rama's show that raised a toast at Alex Soros' wedding.
"Candidates without the appropriate education and values received important mandates, which are proving to us, even according to SPAK, that they have been linked to crime, have been linked to business, are appointees of the oligarchs to occupy state institutions and protect the oligarchs, but behave in the most hostile manner towards ordinary citizens."
"Is it news in Albania now about who in Albania enjoys the right to raise a toast at Alex Soros' wedding? The media does not deal with the problems of citizens, but with the show of the prime minister. You take a political mandate for a mission, not to enrich yourself. If you take it to enrich yourself, you enrich yourself with the blood of the poor, because it is not your money, but the Albanian taxpayers'," said Malaj, among other things.
