
The Traffic Police of Tirana has taken stock of the last week.
According to the police announcement, 11,776 administrative measures have been imposed on drivers.
It should be noted that an average of 1,628 fines were imposed per day. The most fines have been imposed for wrong posture, for not wearing a seat belt and not giving priority to citizens on the road.
Meanwhile, 3 people were arrested and prosecuted for driving under the influence of alcohol, 2 people for driving without a license, 4 people for violating traffic rules and 2 people for active corruption.
Administrative measures:

32 measures for black glasses
739 measures for speeding over the permitted rates
324 measures for mobile phone use while driving
640 measures for not wearing a seat belt
24 measures for disobeying the "Stop" signal
596 measures for not giving priority to citizens

Suspensions and blockages:
6 cases of suspension for driving under the influence of alcohol
43 cases of speeding
9 different cases
7 vehicles were blocked, including 3 with foreign license plates.
