Lawyer Saimir Vishaj commented today on the arrest of former mayor Vangjush Dako. He said that it is the first time that such a strong blow has been received by a prosecuting body. But he also criticized the police, who covered the entrance to prevent journalists from filming.

We cannot be afraid of the cameraman, of the journalist, but I saw a directorate covered with curtains that might not have been part of this operation because currently a new detention facility is operating on 'Mine Peza' street where all the persons who are arrested or detained or escorted go directly to this prison and there is no reason why the police department has also arrested structured criminal groups and dangerous people and none of them have been covered with curtains.
Second, it is mandatory that Mr. Dako and I hope that within 3 days he will get to know the decision, there is no accusation because I heard from journalists that there are accusations of misuse of duty or forgery, there is no accusation. There may be a criminal offense, the charge will be filed after a few months, but not more than a year, so we will have time to familiarize ourselves with the charges ", said Vishaj.
