The details of the lawsuit that sank Vangjush Dako are revealed. It is about a lawsuit from 2 years ago, by 48 families with about 200 residents of a building damaged by the November 26 earthquake.
According to the residents, their building was damaged by the November 26 earthquake and was classified as habitable at the level of damage DS2, at a time when its slope was determined by experts at the level of 51 cm, while private experts classify it as over 60 cm. They accused the Municipality, the Institute of Construction as well as the Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of Durrës, for concealing the real damage to the building.
They were represented by lawyer Baftjar Hysi, who at that time expressed through the doors of SPAK that the municipality had abused the construction permits.
" We refer to the former structures of the municipality of Durrës, i.e. the competent body that issued the construction permit for this building and specifically the secretary of the KRRT at that time or the director of Urban Planning and Development, the former mayor of the municipality, the auditor, the supervisor, the people who took it over and what is unfortunate is the fact that even though a studio of that time that did the study predicted no more than 7 floors, the municipality of Durrës gave it 10 floors, the construction company has built 14 floors and has also built garages. This means predicting death ", said lawyer Baftjar Rusi two years ago in SPAK.
Meanwhile, the residents of that time denounced that certain segments of the state manipulated the documents and tried to return the citizens to their apartments even though the building was uninhabitable, and even posed a danger to the surrounding buildings.
