He presented himself as Altin Dumani's subordinate and obtained documents

The Court of Appeals has remanded 49-year-old Alban Muço, accused of fraud, in prison after he presented himself as a SPAK prosecutor. He assumed that Chief Prosecutor Altin Dumani had sent him to investigate.

After his arrest, Alban Muço asked the court for a lighter measure, but was rejected by the Appeals Judge, Sokol Pina.

The fake prosecutor had appeared at the Cadastral Agency in Berat and requested some documents. Osiana Zaimi, director of the Berat Cadastral Agency, who became a witness for the investigation group, tells how she received the prosecutor who requested a meeting at the office.

"I am a SPAK prosecutor ," Muço told him, "and I have come on behalf of my superior to verify the denunciation of a citizen."

For this reason, the fake prosecutor asked whether or not the Berat ASHK possessed the complainant's property documents. As the file shows, the director immediately made the AMTP file available to him, after which the fake prosecutor compiled a handwritten report, which the director recorded.

The SPAK prosecutor, as the official says, informed her that he would be traveling to Skrapar to investigate the properties of a lawyer. The director only became suspicious when the fake SPAK prosecutor left the office and she remembered that the SPAK prosecutor had not presented her with an identification document and, moreover, she had never heard that Alban Muço worked as a prosecutor at SPAK.

For this reason, as can be understood from the file, several witnesses were questioned, including two young men who were drivers employed by the false prosecutor.

The same deception as in Berat, the fake SPAK prosecutor, Muço, has continued in Skrapar, as evidenced by another responsible official in ASHK Skrapar, identified as Florian Mëno. In this case, the official was questioned by Alban Muço about the Bogova forest and after compiling a report, he left.

In addition to examining conversations on the WhatsApp application, prosecutors are also examining the phone.

The only ones who suspected that the person they were dealing with was not a prosecutor, let alone a member of SPAK, were a couple who own a real estate agency. They were contacted by the accused about a rented apartment.

They presented him with the contract and its terms, and when the couple began to question Muço, he reacted: "I'm a SPAK prosecutor from the front line." Faced with suspicions, he asked: "Don't you see?"

But unlike those who work for the state, for the couple, only the rent payment and the contract were important, which the fraudster fulfilled./ TCH
