There is already snowfall in the cities of Kukës, Kruma and Bajram Curri, but the snow has only just begun to melt in these cities.
The Traffic Police instruct drivers to have winter equipment with them in their vehicle, as the presence of snow, ice, and moisture is on all national and rural roads.
The National Road, in the Fan-Morinë segment, continues to have intense snowfall but without causing problems in vehicle traffic.
While some areas such as: Myhejan, Buçaj, Astë and Sopot, the Tropoja administrative unit, Tropoja Municipality have problems with electricity, according to the Civil Emergency Headquarters in Kukës.
Snowfall in the Dibër region has dropped to 600 meters above sea level, where problems have begun to appear.
The road axis where drivers are required to be careful is the Arbri road. The most problematic situation is in Bulqiza and Maqellara where there is snow on the asphalt. In the afternoon hours, the intensity of the precipitation has increased.
The situation may worsen during the evening hours when temperatures will drop several degrees below zero.
There was also snowfall in Lezha, while there were problems with vehicle traffic in the Kallmet-Ungrej segment.
