Ilir Meta, President of the PL, has reacted again from his cell, regarding the transfer of the file for trial to the GJKKO, being officially indicted by SPAK on corruption charges.
In his reaction, Meta considers the entire process as political and ordered by Edi Rama, while warning that he will melt like ice cream in the heat.
"I want to clarify to you that there is no new episode except for the indictment without any criminal facts or evidence, which was signed on the orders of Edi Rama, not simply for my political kidnapping and the terrorization of members and sympathizers of the Freedom Party, but also for the kidnapping of the Freedom Party itself and its logo," said Meta.

Dear citizens, members and supporters of the Freedom Party!
Today, as you have followed from the media, but also from the public clarification of my well-known lawyer Kujtim Cakrani, immediately after the electoral farce, as I expected, I was informed, by order of Edi Rama, that I was being taken as a defendant.
It is clear that more than 7 months after my terrorist kidnapping, as a prelude to the electoral terrorism that developed in public and even more so in the underground, exactly what happened today would happen.
I want to clarify to you that there is no new episode except for the indictment without any criminal facts or evidence, which was signed on the orders of Edi Rama, not simply for my political kidnapping and the terrorization of members and sympathizers of the Freedom Party, but also for the kidnapping of the Freedom Party itself and its logo.
The causes of the Freedom Party are stronger than ever, so I eagerly await the start of the trial process, so that this process can prove once again that Ilir Meta throughout his public life has been an example of respect for the law and the Constitution.
I am convinced that this Ramaforma trial, fabricated for years, the investigation of which began in December 2019, will melt like ice cream in the heat.
The Freedom Party will emerge many times stronger from this battle because its causes are of existential national interest.
