SPAK completed the investigations into the CEZ-DIA file, the lobbying of the former LSI in the US, and the property investigation against Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi.
The former couple Meta-Kryemadhi, who divorced a short time ago, are being investigated for corruption, money laundering, and failure to declare and conceal assets.
Analyst Frrok Çupi, in an interview on ABC News' "News Line," said that SPAK has done a commendable job, and that the "big culprits," as he calls them, will now stand trial.
"The time has come for justice to bear fruit. However, the natural impatience and the great popular desires to see the guilty before the court and to see that they are not unpunished, the moment comes when you see that it is a very big result. Being before the court is a very difficult thing. SPAK has passed a terrible test. Meta and Berisha are terrible swindlers and have used slaves to commit crimes. CEZ/DIA unites the two and is a great abyss for the money of the Albanian people. Lobbying in the US is also another big issue. Berisha will also enter with his lobbying," said the analyst.
He further stated that lobbying and CEZ-DIA are accusations linking Meta to Berisha.
"These people want to defend crimes by doing politics. This is a terrible ruthlessness that people want to use. Even those who are called democrats are victims of Sali Berisha. They have been robbed... They have learned that only with corruption can work be done and they want to be like statesmen at the head of the victims," said Çupi.
