The lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu has stated that the reform in justice as is being carried out with SPAK in Albania has been experimented before in countries like the Czech Republic, Slovakia or Croatia and has been successful.
Invited to the show "Frontline", on "Report TV", Spahiu said that for this reason SPAK is a successful project of the USA and the EU.
" Justice reform is not a project of either Edi Rama, Sali Berisha, or Ilir Meta. Justice reform is not a sui generis project. Albania is the last country to be implemented. It is made in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Bosnia, Romania. Albania was the last bastion. Rama voted for this. Of course they were in the parliament. Even the Special Court was voted by Hashim Thaçi, and today he is in prison. For this reason, I say that it is a successful project of the USA and the EU, which they call their success. It was passed with pressure. A friend of ours is called to the embassy, they say, sir, you will vote for him.
When he left the embassy, we drank a coffee and told him what they said, let him say that we have to vote. If there is no vote, they reminded me of some things from 20 years ago that I had forgotten. They opened a file 20 years ago for every deputy who became an obstacle. Your files have been extracted, vote or you will have serious problems. The reform has just begun ," he said.
