The opposition protest in front of the Tirana municipality was accompanied by incidents and clashes between protesters and police officers.
The situation in front of Tirana's town hall has become tense, while protesters have thrown Molotov cocktails.
The throwing of the molotov has caused a huge fire at the entrance of the municipality. This whole incident happened while Belind Kelliçi was speaking on the podium.
"This protest is done to protect you because in the end ordinary citizens and employees become scapegoats", said Kelliçi.
It took the intervention of the police forces to calm the situation. Meanwhile, the police have called with a megaphone for the protesters to stop throwing Molotov cocktails.
A police officer lost consciousness during the Tirana Municipality protest and fell to the ground.
His colleagues came to the police's aid and then he was taken by ambulance.
It is reported that the officer did not feel well, while at the time when he lost consciousness there were no tensions with the protesters.
Today's protest was also warned by the police, which has taken measures for the smooth progress of the gathering. For this reason, the traffic of cars on the main boulevard near the Municipality of Tirana has been temporarily blocked until the end of the protest.
