Democratic Party protesters have moved this evening in front of the Tirana Police Department, after a march on some of the main axes of the capital.
The rally started in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, then moved towards the General Directorate of Police. After moving to the city center, the protest continued near the headquarters of the Socialist Party and then descended towards the Tirana Police Directorate, where the protesters are currently located.
The security forces have created a security cordon at the entrance to the road leading to the building, preventing the crowd from approaching the police premises. The officers are positioned in several rows, while the situation so far appears calm and without tension.
The protest is taking place in the form of a march, without a podium and without central speeches, while numerous police forces have been deployed on the ground to monitor the situation and prevent possible escalation.
