Journalist Poli Hoxha, analyzing the political situation and the upcoming elections, said that he does not think that Rama will get 80 mandates.
In an interview for Report TV, Hoxha said that the majority does not get more than 68 mandates, even though he considers it the winner, since the plan remains the creation of bipolarity, where Rama holds the power and Berisha the party.
" Without wanting to bias the polls, I don't see this perception of reality as a journalist. To go from 74 to 80 in a term where you are left with only those with whom you started the government from 2021? Without prejudice, but they have us under control, with patronage and information, including us here (the panel) and even the head of the SP himself boasts about this and says that he will strengthen it even more. I have two sisters in the USA and they call and tell them to give us the votes so that they can declare that they are in government work and say that they have those two votes. Having information within the SP, I remove 10% from this 80%, otherwise Rama did not call emergency meetings with political leaders and did not change the leaders of Tirana. He couldn't deal with the immigrant vote if he was sure. Everything is a media game and polls, we also remember the case of the USA. All this is done to bring out the Rama-Berisha bipolarity, but the reality is different", says the journalist.
Hoxha returns to Mediu's strong statement within the opposition camp, describing it as a danger for DP to maximize the vote.
"Mediu gave a strong statement, where he said that the DP gave the proposal for the electoral reform, because the one of the SP was actually better, the proposed one. But it is a question of bipolarity, the double dance of Rama-Berisha and the others become non-existent, that their existence, that of other parties, becomes uncertain for them. But if other small parties join, even the code does not allow them much, but they can become kingmakers and go up to 30% to capitalize it. I foresee a third factor, the intervention of internationals and other SPAK strikes. I don't see Rama even with 71 MPs, but the most with 68 MPs ", he continues.
Regarding the conduct of politics and dealing with justice, Hoxha sees SPAK as a danger for the major political parties and especially the majority.
" SPAK is opening offices in every district for electoral violations and electoral crime. But the pressure on justice is also great. Even a few minutes ago, Mrs. Xhaferrlarit resigned from the Berisha case in the Constitutional Court, after 3 days of pressure. I am for transparency, but not for communist methods. But there are others who live together with others or are husband and wife" , says Hoxha.
But how do you see the future of the opposition and the possibilities to win on May 11, 2025, as well as the real option of small parties. Hoxha says that the only solution is an opposition front and for Berisha to act as in 2005.
" I think that the only chance that young people have in PD is for Berisha to remember the year 2005, to put on the lamb's skin, to restore the KOP as in the case of Basha and to win and I wish, but from what I see it is going in the right direction loyalty to the leader and calcification. I am for the young and not for those who jump and twist, twist their waists better than for their people, from those who used to say no, we will jump from the balcony, etc., and today here they are. The parties are captured. Look at what happens in the PS, they find out from the TV that they become ministers and MPs, why is this democracy?" , concludes the journalist.
