Journalist Enton Abilekaj spoke about the SP-PD agreement on Electoral Reform. He said that the agreement between the parties paves the way for the strong to enter the Assembly.
He added that the elections are bought and predetermined by the majority and that the elections are not regulated by the Electoral Code in the country, because it is not respected. Abilekaj emphasized that the opening of the lists is a return to the majority system and a worse model than the original one.
"This is a cause of some parties, not only the PD, that we do not know the Electoral Code well, they thought and proposed to heal the lists from the mayors and thought to open the lists. Opening the lists is the return of the majority and a worse model than the original one, because it can be done all over the country. This means that it is much easier for a strong man and a businessman to enter the electoral process.
I think that what has been achieved has a benefit only for those who think that open lists influence, even though I think they do not influence the de-presidentialization of parties. This is a useless and worthless reform that gives the opposition something it doesn't need. Elections are bought and predetermined by the majority. Elections are not regulated by the Electoral Code in the country, because it is not respected", said Abilekaj for "Ora News".
