High-intensity snowfall is falling in the Qafë Thores area, creating potential difficulties in road traffic.
According to the Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH), two snowplows are currently working on the ground to keep the road open and passable. Up to now, traffic is continuing without problems.
However, based on weather forecasts, rainfall is expected to continue with intensity throughout the night, which could cause difficulties both in the movement of vehicles and in the work of snowplows.
The ARA announces that the situation is being continuously monitored, while working groups and tools are on full alert.
Authorities are calling on drivers to exercise maximum caution, to wear snow chains when traveling along this route, and to follow the instructions of the structures on the ground.
