
With banners, marches, and calls against the government and the political caste, protesters reiterated on the 46th day that they will not stop until their demands are met.
The civic protest has entered its 46th day today. Hundreds of citizens have once again taken to the square demanding the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, as well as the entire political caste.
As in previous days, protesters first gathered at Skanderbeg Square, then marched towards the Prime Minister's Office. After speeches by activists, the march will continue on some of the main axes in Tirana.
During the protest, citizens repeat the calls that have accompanied the rallies for weeks, such as "Rama go!", "Berisha go!", "Everyone go!", "Down with the political caste!", "We love Albania like all of Europe!", "The government and politics have turned into a harem!", "Resign", "The end has come for you", etc.
With flags in their hands and banners with ironic messages against the government and the political class, the protesters demand a change in the political system and the return of representative democracy.
According to the protesters, their dissatisfaction is related to the way of governance, corruption, the economic situation and the standard of living in the country. Organizers have announced that the rallies will continue every day until their demands are met.
During the march to the Prime Minister's Office, there were cheers, patriotic songs, ironic banners, and continuous calls to the government and the entire political class.
