Resolution against Iran, Meçollari: Rama made Trump listen to it, it has no value

Former Deputy Commander of the Naval Fleet Artur Meçollari commented on the "Now" show on 'Euronews Albania' on the resolution approved today by the Parliament declaring Iran a state sponsor of terrorism.

According to him, Prime Minister Rama's move is only made to attract the attention of the US president and has no significance.

" This resolution should have been issued a long time ago, at the moment it came out it had no effect on either Iran or Albania, Iran in its current state does not hear Albania's bells at all. Rama did this to make the US listen, he did this since maybe he gave a daily report to Trump or Rubio, maybe he gave a line that Albania declared Iran a terrorist state. The US is today trying to eliminate the National Guard, what is the value of declaring it a terrorist state at this moment ," said Meçollari.
