For more than a week, our country has been hit by heavy rainfall, which has caused several rivers to overflow their banks and flood hundreds of hectares of agricultural land.
What is the weather forecast for the coming days?
Anira Gjoni from the Institute of Geosciences, invited to the show 'Today Live in Albania', said that during tonight we will have the return of rainfall.
"From tonight we expect the return of rainfall with increased intensity. In the Vlora and Gjirokastra regions, the rainfall will be very intense. In the Kukës, Shkodra, Elbasan and Dibër regions, the rainfall will be intense, while in the other regions it will be at an average level," said Gjoni, adding that the rainfall will be accompanied by storms.
John emphasized that this return of rainfall will also increase river flows.
"The rains that will fall today will restore the flow of the Shkumbin, Seman and Vjosa rivers. The rains will continue until the end of the month ," she said.
Meanwhile, in the mountainous areas, mainly in the north and east, above 1000 meters, there will be snowfall. As for the coastal areas, strong winds are problematic.
