Rei Meta, the son of the prosecutor and member of the High Prosecution Council, Nurihan Seiti, has been charged by the prosecutor's office in Vlora for the criminal offense of "manslaughter".
On August 7, 2023, in the "Hajro Çakërri" neighborhood in Vlorë, Rei Meta had a conflict with the citizen Armando Meshau, inside an internet center.
The two first had a verbal conflict and then Rei Meta punched Armando Meshau, causing him to fall unconscious on the chair and die.
Despite first aid, the 55-year-old engineer died.
The investigations showed that Rei Meta had promised Armando Meshaut that he would help him solve a problem in one of the properties he had in exchange for a monetary reward. After some time, Rei Meta discovered that Armando Meshau had taken the property they had talked about and was constantly asking for the money he had promised.
After the event, it was announced that the 33-year-old is the son of the member of the High Council of Prosecution, Nurihan Meta (Seiti), whose name was widely circulated in the media last year, after voting against Altin Duman, who today holds the post of head of SPAK.
