The number of road accidents in our country is increasing, with the most recent being when three minors riding a moped were hit by a vehicle in the capital.
Automotive expert, Alfred Hasanaj, explained in "Top Story" the cases and fatal consequences of accidents.
He presented simulated cases where vehicles collide with pedestrians, bicycles, or each other.
" In April, if I'm not mistaken, there were 112 accidents. A very high number. We decided to have a national accident awareness day. We simulated real situations. The vehicle enters the red light and the bicycle does not circulate in the dedicated lane, but enters the middle of the road. This is the real case that is being analyzed by the prosecutor's office.
To put it simply, if a vehicle hits a pedestrian at 40 km/h, it's like a pedestrian jumping from the third floor, while at 80 km/h, it's like falling from the fourth floor.
"In these days, we have conducted tests with vehicles-bicycles, vehicles-pedestrians, vehicles-vehicles ," said expert Hasanaj.
