"Increasing pensions, mock alms", Teliti: The only way, protest

The vice president of the Municipal Council of Tirana, Dorian Teliti, has reacted regarding the increase in pensions, which starts from October 1.

In a post on social networks, Teliti writes that the increase of 25 lek per day is a mock alms.

Further, he said that these pennies are nothing compared to the hundreds of millions of euros that are given every year for government luxuries.

"Looking like a pensioner, the protest is the right answer to the ridiculous 25 ALL/day alms.

And what can the pensioner do with 25 lek per day extra from indexation? In the best case, he will be able to buy an egg, or buy a panini, or a kaush with sunflower seeds (unripe ones, than ripe ones cost more).

These pennies that the government beggars are giving are nothing to the hundreds of millions of euros that every year are destined for government luxury, the theft of up to 100% of public funds with fabricated and commissioned tenders, centuries-old robberies with PPP "golden" roads or ghost incinerators .

Theft and abuse that have breathed life into this country are placed on a pedestal, while the citizen of the third age is abandoned forever.

Before this contempt, before this round of mockery that has been going on for 11 years, the only way is rejection, reaction, protest," writes Teliti.
