Journalist Alban Dudushi has commented on the salary report of the state functionary and corruption.
" The salary of the state functionary does not compete with the reward of corruption, the latter always wins over the salary. There are laws and there are consciences that restrain this history. The civil servant must have dignity for himself and his family, that's why all the bonuses are given, because you decided to work in a country where salaries are given in hierarchy. When you choose to work for a vocation, or to steal, based on wages" , said Dudushi.

" There is an evil that started in 1992, which starts from Mr. Berisha, who, when he became president, said, 'I will not go to the president's palace, but I will stay at my house, on Fortuzi street.' and on this road that Berisha walked, people came and saw that he did not change the bathrooms, the armchairs, the sideboard, as all the others did. With this, he wanted to show the Albanians that 'I am simple', but in fact he created a communist standard, that we had come to a system where we want a better life, said the moderator.
According to Dudushi, there should be a dignity in the salary, and this salary of politicians should be high, in order to feel the responsibility of the work they do, thus reducing corruption a little.
" The stigmatization started here. All populists struggle with one thing 'we don't spend money because we think about the people and we live on less'. This is a big lie, if there is no dignity in the salary, there is no point. There is a hierarchy to this. The dignity of the salary is the dignity of the state. The politician's salary should be high because they are there for that job" , the journalist emphasizes.
