Salianji appeals to the Court of Tirana again, requesting a postponement of the execution of the sentence

The Court of Tirana will consider today at 12:30 the request of MP Ervin Salianji's lawyers to postpone the execution of the prison sentence.

The request was filed on September 27, the day that the democratic deputy voluntarily surrendered to the police after the final decision that found him guilty of 1 year in prison for false reporting related to the "Babale" file.

Salianji is kept isolated in Fier prison, is expected to be represented by lawyers and according to information, will not be present at the hearing.

Lawyers are expected to withdraw from this request as it has no purpose.

Now Salianji's hope, which calls his punishment political, remains the Supreme Court, which on October 15 will examine the request for the suspension of the prison sentence.
