The United States Embassy in Tirana has reacted to the election of Klodian Braho as the new Chief Prosecutor of SPAK, welcoming the process and confirming continued support for the new justice institution in Albania.
The Embassy also appreciated the role of Altin Dumani during these 3 years at the head of the prosecution.
" The United States commends Altin Dumani for his unparalleled service as Chief Prosecutor of SPAK. His integrity and courage in holding criminals accountable have strengthened cooperation between the United States and Albania, making us safer from the threat of international crime and drug trafficking ," the embassy's official statement said.
Citing the challenges related to organized crime and corruption, the Embassy expressed its readiness to continue cooperation with Klodian Braho in his new role. “ We look forward to continuing our strong partnership with the new Special Chief Prosecutor, Klodian Braho ,” the diplomatic mission added.
The clear message of the US remains unchanged: support for justice institutions that show integrity and determination in the fight against lawlessness, without political interference.
