Aida Ademi, the director of the Cadastre in Saranda, was dismissed today after an investigation which brought to light that her family has benefited from land that was previously sea.
He is accused of abuse of office.
In connection with this event, it is learned that the police will carry out checks and documents will be seized in connection with the investigation launched for violations that led to the dismissal of Aida Demi.
It is also learned that the documents and properties of Aida Ademi and her family members will be subject to checks.
Aida Demi has been dismissed from office after the investigation of a TV show, where it was shown how her family has benefited from land that was previously sea.
"The hotel by the sea, built by Aida Demi's family on a plot of land purchased through the privatization process in 1992, swallowed a significant part of the seashore, a part that was filled with inerts and returned to the ground.
With a sales contract on July 5, 2019, the Ministry of Finance sold it to the Demi family, turning the sea into land. After only 4 days, the Demi family received the ownership certificate not for the 600 m2 they bought, but for 1325 m2.
Then, in the years 2020 and 2021 and 2022, Aida Demi's family received several permits for the construction of a new facility and additional floors for the existing facility. "Aida Demi has legalized two floors of a building without permission, for which there was a demolition order from the Municipality and INUK," says the investigative show 'Stop'.
