SPAK submitted the claim today, while demanding 4 years and 6 months in prison for former mayor Safet Gjici.
SPAK has requested a guilty verdict for both accused, where Gjici will be sentenced to 3 years in prison from 4.6. As for Alma Kaçi, 1 year and 6 months in prison has been requested and with a shortened trial he will suffer the measure of arrest with 1 year in prison.
It is learned that Gjici was not present at the session.
The former mayor of Kukës was arrested in June of this year, a few weeks after he was re-elected as the head of the City Hall.
He appeared in some footage recorded in his office by the citizen Alma Kaçi performing shameful acts, while the latter asked him to favor him in a project for the rehabilitation and housing of dogs.
Since then, Gjici is behind bars, while Kaçi is under house arrest.
