He said that the fact that no more seizures of narcotic substances are reported in the Port of Durrës is quite worrying. " In Latin America there are also criminal groups from the Balkans. These groups also transport cocaine to America. For me it is worrying that cocaine is not being caught in the Port of Durrës. Are you saying that there is no more cocaine coming in? I don't believe it. Large quantities of cocaine are caught in other European ports. I believe that the port of Durrës continues to be a transit point for cocaine traffic.
I think the opening of the US DEA Office is about logistics and information. How is it possible that so much dirty money is cleaned in Albania? How is it possible that large quantities of cocaine are trafficked in our country? I think these stories are being looked at closely by the DEA ," he said.
