The head of Has Municipality, Miftar Dauti, has denied the claims of the former prime minister, Sali Berisha. The latter, from the window of his apartment, said that the Special Prosecutor's Office has a file for his physical elimination by opponents, but Dauti claimed the opposite.
In a statement received by 'ZÜRI', Miftar Dauti said that the campaign for the local elections on May 14 was fierce, but added that he himself had no such concerns. Emphasizing that there were no finger scratches.
Asked if he would seek information from SPAK regarding Berisha's claim, the mayor of Hasi said that he had no reason to appear at the Prosecutor's Office, as he had no claim.
" I have no idea. The campaign was fierce, the incident will not be repeated again. There was police pressure from all sides. But with calmness and will we succeeded. I had no threats, but I felt the pressure of the State Police who very present since FNSH, all the police have been. We have no direct problems. Asked if he will go to SPAK, regarding the case mentioned by Berisha, he stated that he had no reason to appear.
" I was in SPAK before taking office because I was accused of being a convict. I was convicted at the time of the labor party, we were administered by law 7415, 1991. That law calls us innocent and unconvicted. I have given my statements. Since I am not part of the problem, why should I go to SPAK? I don't know, since the day I got the mandate I haven't had any threats. The campaign has been wild, tense, but we haven't had a scratched finger. Everything has gone without problems ", Miftar Dauti said in the statement for 'ZÖRI'.
