Sex scandal in Këlcyrë: Man catches woman red-handed with Edi

A serious denunciation in the Përmet Police casts a heavy shadow over the Socialist Party's electoral campaign in the Gjirokastra District, implicating the candidate and former mayor of Tepelena, Tërmet Peçi, in a case of sexual abuse of the wife of a citizen in Këlcyrë.

At the height of the election campaign, when the public focus was on the candidates' electoral movements and bargaining, an incident with penalizing content appears to have been kept hidden by the authorities, on political orders from the highest levels of the Ministry of Interior.

According to reliable sources of "Pamfleti", a citizen from Këlcyra has reported to the local Police Station that he caught his wife in the act of having an intimate relationship with Tërmet Peçi. Immediately after this, he filed a criminal complaint for rape with threat and force.

The case was referred to the Përmet Police Station and then to the Local Police Directorate in Gjirokastra. But the scandal was covered up by direct order, so as not to be reflected in official bulletins, and so as not to negatively affect the progress of the SP campaign.

Sources say that the first person to be informed about the incident was the political leader of the SP campaign in Gjirokastra, Minister Mirela Kumbaro. Instead of demanding clarification of the incident, she asked the complainant's wife and her husband to remain silent. But the latter refused to withdraw the complaint, demanding justice for the incident.

Peçi's dark past
Tërmet Peçi is not an unknown name for justice. Until 1997, he was involved in serious criminal activities such as armed robbery, kidnapping and trafficking of women to Greece and Italy, in collaboration with his brother, Vojo Peçi, currently an officer in the State Police. Other sources speak of a long history of sexual violence, threats and abuse covered up by political influence and power.

Why is the SP silent?
Sources within the pink headquarters claim that the news went directly to Prime Minister Rama, who ordered that the event not be made public so as not to "tarnish" the image of the SP in the final days of the campaign./ Pamphlet
