Ilir Proda, General Director of the State Police, has asked police officers engaged in the May 11 election process to show prudence, professionalism and composure.
Today, the briefing of the Police officers scheduled for the physical security of the election facilities, where the voting process will take place, was completed.
The briefing was attended by the heads of the Directorates and Police Stations, who conveyed to the Police employees the messages of the General Director of the State Police, for commitment, professionalism, equanimity and composure in fulfilling their duties.
"I congratulate you for the dedication and professionalism so far on your part and that of your leaders, and I encourage you that these final days will be a passport of trust and appreciation from citizens and internationals for the State Police. Prudence, composure and the law as a guide, to successfully fulfill this sacred duty in the interest of citizens and the country", Proda addressed the police force with a message.
All police officers involved in the election process have been distributed pocket books with the tasks that each police officer involved in the final phase of this process must fulfill. This book was produced by the State Police.
Police officers have been deployed to the planned service areas to guard election facilities.
