The world has seen politicians corrupt to the point of greed, but Sali Berisha, a defendant for corruption, non grata by the US and Great Britain, may be the only politician in Europe whose family members have applied parallel and different corruption charges to businessmen in exchange for favors from the government of Sali Berisha, who entered politics with a 69 m2 prefabricated apartment, while today he has over 50 assets worth tens of millions of euros, in the name of his children.

Meanwhile, Ismail Mulleti gave 350 thousand euros to Shkëlzen Berisha in 2008-2009, while on February 27, 2013, Sali Berisha, through chief financier Ridvan Bode, gave Ismail Mulleti the concession for fuel marking and monitoring.
Ilir Karçini gave Shkëlzen Berisha 150 thousand euros in 2009, while Berisha as prime minister, through Genc Ruli, gave Karçini permission in 2010 to build coastal gas deposits in the Porto-Romano area.
Klod Allajbeu, a beneficiary of public contracts during both the Berisha and Rama governments, has given Shkëlzen Berisha tens of thousands of euros through his company Agromel. These are just a few illustrative examples of how Shkëlzen Berisha represents the main line of corruption and extortion of Sali Berisha.
Parallel corruption charges have also been applied by the son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi. For example, Berisha made the VKM for the Ashta hydropower plant in the government, on the other hand, the Ashta HPP paid Jamarbër Malltezi 81 thousand euros. Argita dhe Jamarbëri, në vitin 2007, blenë tokë me 10 euro m2 Porto Romano. Më pas ia shitën Damir Fazlliç me 18 euro m2. Me këtë manovër besohet se futën në xhep 1.2 milionë euro. Më pas shfaqet Berisha, i cili angazhon qeverinë duke futur tokën e Fazlliçit në perimetrin e parkut energjitik.
Jamarbër Malltezi ishte trashëgimtar i pretenduar i 113 m2 tokë te ish Klubi Partizani. Nënshkroi një marrëveshje me pronarët e tjerë të pretenduar duke u kërkuar përqindje. Më pas angazhohet Sali Berisha, i cili përdor qeverinë dhe çdo degë të shtetit duke u kthyer (tjetërsuar) pronën publike, mbi të cilën dhëndri ngriti 19 kulla.
Mes skemave korruptive të Familjes Berisha, jo rastësisht non grata nga SHBA dhe Britania e Madhe për korrupsion dhe minim të demokracisë, më e veçantë është ajo e Liri Berishës me fondacionin e saj, të cilin e ktheu në një model korrupsioni dhe lavatriçe pastrimi parash, gjatë kohës kur bashkëshortin Sali Berisha e kishte kryeministër. Vetëm gjatë mbrëmjes së 13 tetorit 2012, një rreth biznesmenësh, të cilët favorizoheshin nga qeveria Berisha, i paguan Liri Berishës mbi gjysmë milioni euro.
Biznesmenët përfitues të pushtetit të Berishës thirreshin dhe rreshtoheshin në eventet e Fondacionit të Liri Berishës, për të paguar me radhë, duke ndarë plaçkën publike që u kishte dhënë Sali Berisha si kryeministër.
Protagonist i kësaj skeme të dyshuar korruptive ishte edhe Rezart Taçi, i cili bleu për 100 mijë euro një pikturë të Alush Shimës. Ish-manjati kontrovers i naftës Rezart Taçi, i dënuar me 11 burg për pastrim parash me mafien italiane, grup i struktuar kriminal dhe kryerjen e veprave nga grupi i strukturuar kriminal, paguante herë pas here haraç pranë fondacionit të Liri Berishës, kamufluar me blerje pikturash.
Para se të vinte në pushtet në 2005, Berisha e kishte kërcënuar Taçin se do t’a nxirrte para drejtësisë dhe se do t’i merrte pasuritë dhe paratë publike që i kishte dhënë qeveria e Fatos Nanos, duke ia kthyer shqiptarëve. Por, pas ardhjes në pushtet, Taçi u kthye në biznesmenin kryesor në oborrin e Familjes Berisha. Taçi kapi tregun e shitjes së karburanteve, duke arritur kulmin gjatë pushtetit të Berishës 2005-2013.
Përmes një procesi të paqartë dhe korruptiv, Sali Berisha shkoi deri aty saqë i shiti Taçit kompaninë shtetërore përpunimit të naftës ARMO, të cilën Taçi që e dorëzoi më pas tek azerët, me një mal me borxhe.
Rezart Taçi me bekimin e Familjes Berisha besohet se ka përfituar qindra milionë euro me skema mashtrimi, kapje tregu, evazion fiskal, kontrabandë nafte, privatizim të pasurive publike etj.

Bechetti, who since 1997 claimed that he would build a hydroelectric power plant in Kalivaç, Tepelena, has paid tribute to Liri Berisha, in exchange for permission from Sali Berisha to steal public money with VAT and launder money in Albania through the companies "Energji" sh.pk "Cable System" sh.pk, "400 KV" sh.pk and "Agon Set".
