A day before the protest announced by Adriatik Lapaj and activists of the "Albania Becomes" movement, a significant increase in security measures is being observed on the boulevard. The Republic Guard has begun armoring the Prime Minister's Office building, placing metal cladding on its facade, to protect the building from any possible incidents during Saturday's rally.
Footage circulating online clearly shows Guard employees installing metal panels, a measure that shows the government's real concern about the expected massive citizen reaction.

The protest has been called to denounce corruption, the capture of institutions and the abuse of public assets. Activists have announced a peaceful but determined rally in front of the building where, according to them, "power and injustice are concentrated."
It remains to be seen what will happen on Saturday, but the signals are clear: the government is feeling the pressure and is preparing for a protest that could be among the strongest this year.
