A thick cloud of smog has blanketed the city of Tirana today, significantly worsening air quality. Footage provided clearly shows the gray layer that weighs on the city, while citizens are forced to walk and work in severe pollution conditions.
According to experts, smog is the result of air pollution from heavy traffic, the burning of poor-quality fuels, uncontrolled construction, and the total lack of proper greenery in urban areas.
