Skerdjan Dhuli, spokesperson of Fredi Beleri's campaign, said that the former mayor of Himara, Jorgo Goro, will soon be arrested.
According to him, SPAK arrests officials only after they are dismissed by Prime Minister Edi Rama. He brought to attention the former Minister of Health Ilir Beqaj, who, as he said, was never investigated while he was in office.
"Jorgo Goro will go to prison very soon because according to all the information very soon Rama will give permission to SPAK to arrest him, apparently SPAK is putting pressure on Rama that you can no longer keep him in office because we want to take him to jail. SPAK has not arrested any person in office, it leaves them until Rama dismisses them, then investigates them, as happened with Olta Xhaçka, it is a known method.
How is it possible that Beqaj is not in prison but is free, the concessions were granted 10 years ago and they are restored now that he is not in office", said Dhuli in an interview for Euronews Albania.
